Navratri First Day Colour

Navratri first day is also known as Pratipada, On this day, devotees performed Ghatsthapna at their homes and worshiped Sri Shailputri Devi. Devotees should be dressed in Yellow color on this day.

Navratri Second Day Colour

2nd day of Navratri is also known as Dwitiya, in this day Goddess Durga second form Bharmacharini is worshiped and devotees should wear Green Colour in this day.

Navratri Third Day Colour

The third day of Navratri is celebrated as Tritiya, Mata Chandraghanta is worshiped on this day. Colour of the day is Grey.

Fourth Day-Chaturthi-Orange

Maa Kushmanda is the Goddess worshipped on this day. She symbolizes the creator of the universe. For devotees, the color of the day is ‘Orange’.

Fifth Day- Panchami- White

Skandamata is known for demolishing the demons. On Panchami, devotees are expected to wear a ‘White’ color dress.

Sixth Day-Shashti –Red

Devotees remember Mata Durga incarnation as Katyayni Devi. Devotees are expected to do in ‘Red’ color dress on the day.

Seventh Day- Saptami- Blue

Mata Kaalratri is remembered on the day who protects her devotees from troubles. The day is called as the beginning of Utsava Puja and devotees can wear a ‘Blue’ dress.

Eighth Day – Ashtami – Pink

On this day, Mata Maha Gauri is remembered who is a kind heart Goddess, known to forgive her devotees’ sins. The Goddess is dressed in a peacock green colour saree and ‘Pink’ color is decided for devotees.

Ninth Day–Navami –Purple

Siddhidatri is the form of Goddess Durga on a ninth day. The Goddess is dressed in purple and for devotees, the same color is decided to wear.

Navratri Tenth Day Colour – Peacock Green

Also known as Dashmi and very famous Dussehra festival is also celebrated on this day. Dussehra falls on 10th day of Sharad Navratri. Peacock Green colour is recommended for this day.
